Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer has won the Goalkeeper of the Season award for the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League campaign.
Neuer enjoyed another fantastic season with Bayern Munich, leading them to the treble of UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and domestic German Cup. The 34year old shot stopper played every minute of Bayern’s triumphant European campaign, turning in some outstanding performances on route to the final in Lisbon.
The award was announced last night during the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Geneva.
