PSG keeper Salvatore Sirigu now holds the record in the French Ligue 1 for the longest time without conceding a goal.
Italy International Sirigu kept a clean sheet for Paris St Germain for 948 minutes, over 15 hours before finally conceding in his last game during a 3-1 win.
Sirigu started the run of clean sheets after a goal in the 35th minute of a November 17 loss to Rennes and he has since kept his net clean seven times.
Salvatore Sirigu has achieved the rare feat of taking the spotlight away from striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in recent weeks as the key player in a team that has an increasingly rock-solid defence, but Sirigu hopes that Ibrahimovic will outshine all in the Champions League clash in Valencia tonight.
"Zlatan is a very special player, everybody knows this, sated Sirigu, We hope that he can help us alomg with the rest of the team"
