ALI AL HABSI SIGNS FOR SONDICO
Sondico, the iconic football brand, has officially announced the signing of Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi. The Oman international will wear the brand’s gloves in a three-year deal.
Al Habsi follows Besiktas stopper Allan McGregor as the second of several high profile signings set to join Sondico, with more announcements planned in the coming months. The ‘keeper has been a near ever present for Wigan over the past two seasons and will also play a key role in the development of future product.
Sondico is steeped in goalkeeping history with legendary stoppers including Peter Shilton, Ray Clemence, Neville Southall and Andy Goram opting to wear its product during a golden period for the brand.
More recently, the likes of David James, Brad Friedel and Shay Given have put their trust in Sondico gloves and that prominence looks set to continue following the signings of Al Habsi and McGregor.
