Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson is expected to complete a £1m move to Besiktas.
The Turkish side are on the hunt for a new No 1 after veteran Rustu Recber announced his retirement.
The Blackburn stopper was unable to prevent his club from being relegated to the Championship at the end of last season and wants a new challenge.
Robinson has a year left on his contract at Ewood Park having joined the club from Tottenham for £3.5million in 2008. He made over 150 appearances for the Lancashire club.
Celtic were offered the chance to sign Robinson on loan but they opted instead to pursue a £2million permanent deal for Fraser Forster.
Robinson joins another Former England goalkeeper Scott Carson in the Turkish Supa League, Carson had an impressive first year with Bursaspor.
